Press Locked Grating

Type “PG” press locked gratings are manufactured by inserting pre-punched bearing bars and cross bars into an “egg-crate” configuration and deforming the cross bars under intense hydraulic pressure. Popular for the manufacture of stainless steel, and close mesh gratings.

The press locked grating is characterised by particularly high load bearing capacity and good torsional rigidity, and it is the most commonly used type of grating in many European countries today.
